Too many aftermarket spring sets are sold with little thought given to ride quality, which usually deteriorates once shorter springs are fitted. To cope with the wide range of vehicles on the market, we focus our efforts on developing specific springs for each model to give the best possible results. We not only lower a vehicle's ride height to provide an attractive form, but also achieve good ride comfort by accurately measuring the suspension strokes for each car. We also secure optimum reliability without degradation (or breakage) by allowing for the new ride height combined with maximum load in our stress calculations.
With maximum attention to safety and the prevention of breakages, we avoid using extremely narrow diameter wire for the sake of weight reduction in our coil springs, designing an ample safety margin into each of our products following our own extensive stress calculations. Our racing experience has taught us to avoid risky designs that place too much trust in high-strength materials.
We also pay great attention to ride comfort, developing specific bump-stop rubbers for each model, because good ride quality cannot be achieved by the springs alone. We are confident that this detail development work combines to give a far better ride than that offered by any of the products fielded by our competitors. By adopting the D1-Spec racing wheel nuts in addition to the springs, one can expect an even greater reduction in unsprung weight without taking any risks.
As a matter of policy, our experienced team pledge to continue to develop superior, value-for-money products that act as part of a total suspension package, giving you the best possible compromise on cost and all-round performance.
There are many types of spring ends to suit various vehicles, from Kei-cars to luxury and high-performance import models. We at ESPELIR utilize both cold-or hot-forming processes to perfectly match the ends of the genuine springs.
- 1.Pig Tail
- Made by the cold-forming process, and given this name due to the shape of the spring end resembling a pig's tail.
- 2.Open End
- Made by either the cold-or hot-forming process depending on the gauge of the rod used to make the spring.
- 3.Closed End (rolling process)
- Made only by the hot-forming process, with the end of the rod being heated and then flattened before making the coil.
- 4.Open End (narrower at one end)
- Made by either the cold- or hot-forming process depending on the gauge of the rod used to make the spring.

We are now able to offer leaf springs developed for the Honda Vamos and Hobio that lower the vehicle without sacrificing ride comfort. These springs come with a certificate confirming their strength upon request. We also have shackles to enable owners to lower the ride height of the Nissan Largo and Serena. Again, these shackles can also be supplied with an official certificate of strength.
